Silvana is a communicator at heart, whether it’s through written, verbal or visual language.
She has worked in the communications field in marketing, public and community relations roles.
After a long journey with poor health and a fascination with the mind and what motivates human behaviour, she changed her trajectory to study counselling, and pastoral care. She also discovered a long-buried creative side and began dabbling in art and learning about the role that creativity plays in the therapeutic space.
Having faced her own health challenge, she began writing a blog to help others on a similar journey. She rediscovered her love of writing and uses it to promote personal growth and self-discovery. She has also found that creative expression is a great form of self-care.
She uses her own life and work experience to imbue her creative work with ideas and wisdom gained to help improve the lives of others.
She is also passionate about protecting our beautiful earth and does all she can to to reduce, reuse and recycle. She also volunteers regularly to do her small part in helping conserve our amazing blue planet and help those in need.
